Asia Cement and Ya Tung Ready Mixed Concrete Showcase Low-Carbon Building Solutions at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Asia Cement Corporation (ACC), in partnership with Ya Tung Ready Mixed Concrete Corporation, showcased their integrated low-carbon building materials value chain at the 5th Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo, held over three consecutive days starting August 27 at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1.

Participating under the Far Eastern Group’s overarching theme, "Co-creating Net Zero, Moving Forward with Far Eastern; Sustainable Far Eastern, Cross-Domain Mutual Good," ACC and Ya Tung presented under the banner "Green Building Materials: Low Carbon & Sustainable," demonstrating how their combined efforts bridge low-carbon cement manufacturing and concrete engineering applications.

On the opening day, President Lai Ching-te visited the Far Eastern Group pavilion and toured the joint exhibition booth of ACC and Ya Tung. ACC President Lee Kun-yen and Ya Tung President Chin Chung-ren personally guided the President through the exhibit, highlighting ACC’s achievements in resource recycling, smart manufacturing, and low-carbon technologies, as well as Ya Tung’s integration of these technologies into finished concrete products.

Among the key highlights was Ya Tung’s flagship product, "LoopCon Low-Carbon Concrete." By leveraging optimized mix designs, low-carbon supplementary cementitious materials, Portland Limestone Cement (PLC), carbon mineralization, and AI-driven processes, LoopCon achieves carbon reductions ranging from 30% to 70%. The product also features digital product traceability, tracking carbon footprints across raw material sourcing, production, transportation, and pouring to ensure transparency and accountability.
