Asia Cement Maintains BSI Anti-Bribery Certification, Strengthening Transparent Governance Mechanisms

Asia Cement Corporation (ACC) has long regarded ethical management as the cornerstone of its sustainable development. Under the oversight of the Board of Directors, the company continues to implement and promote its "Internal Audit Procedures for Bribery Prevention." Since first achieving the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI) in 2023, ACC has ensured the stability and effectiveness of the system through annual audits, management reviews, and regular progress reports to the Board.

Anti-bribery requirements have been fully integrated into ACC’s daily operating procedures and internal control mechanisms. The internal audit department conducts independent verifications and tracks improvements to ensure compliance. To date, no bribery incidents have occurred. The company’s whistleblowing system remains fully functional with no reports of retaliation against informants, demonstrating a solid foundation of safety and trust within the corporate reporting culture.

In response to improvement items identified during internal audits, ACC has established a clear tracking and reporting mechanism to ensure all deficiencies are corrected as planned. Furthermore, the company conducts regular anti-bribery training to enhance employees' risk identification skills and understanding of integrity standards, embedding a culture of transparency into daily decision-making.

The Board of Directors maintains a comprehensive grasp of the ABMS implementation through periodic management reports and risk assessment results. This oversight ensures the continuous effectiveness of the system while reinforcing governance transparency and accountability.

ACC also actively manages stakeholder risks. In 2025, the company completed bribery risk assessments and due diligence for 197 suppliers, 130 customers, and 346 employees. Stricter investigation protocols are applied to personnel with high-level decision-making authority or specific transaction counterparts to mitigate potential integrity risks.
